Goals

  • Preparing graduates who are capable of organizing and managing the fisheries in advanced scientific ways and who are qualified for the labor market with all its fields. 
  • Developing the educational system in accordance with quality by providing a stimulating environment for the processes of teaching and learning and raise the proportion of self-education to encourage the student’s creativity.
  • Preparing the labor market to attract more graduates through a community assessment of the curricula and developing them in accordance with the requirements of the economic and social development with taking into account the new disciplines.
  •  Laying the foundations of scientific research among students and encouraging them to do applied research in the field of fish stocks under the supervision and participation of their professors.
  • Cooperation with the relevant scientific and applied institutions at the regional and international levels support the continuous upgrading of the technology used in the fields of fish stocks development.
  • Holding scientific conferences, workshops, and training courses for (researchers – fishermen – fish workers – service companies, etc.) in the field of fisheries technology that leads to experiences exchange, integration between academics and fishery workers locally, regionally, and internationally.
  • Carrying out studies to increase Lake Nasser and Toshka lakes’ productive capacity decrease the cost of fish production.
  • Maintaining the water features available for fishing and aquaculture to develop fish resources.
  • Increasing the investments in the fish production sector.
  • Developing the personal, administrative, and technical skills of students.
