All students study the general academic courses as university’s requirements, no credited hours taken for it; the result is declared as a passer or a repeater according to student’s grades if they are 65 grades or more.
The Fundamental Programs:
1-Obligatory courses: take 28 credited hours from the courses through the 1st level.
2-Elective courses: take 6 credited hours from the existed courses from the curricula of one of the declared programs, this is considered as choosing the program that the student will join, starting from the second level, and it is not permissible to choose courses from different programs.
1-Aquaculture Technology Program:
Aquaculture Technology Program students study 72 credited hours from the obligatory courses through levels from the 2nd to the 4th, also study 38 credited hours from the elective courses.
2-Inland Fisheries Technology Program:
Inland Fisheries Technology Program students study 73 credited hours from the obligatory courses through levels from the 2nd to the 4th, also study 38 credited hours from the elective courses.
3-Marine Fisheries Technology:
Marine Fisheries Technology students after passing 34 credited hours ( the obligatory hours) in the 1st level choose one of the scientific directions by studying 6 credited hours from the elective courses.
-The Scientific Directions:
Students enrolled in the ”Marine Fishing Navigation”study 73 credited hours of the obligatory courses, as well as study 38 credited hours of the elective courses.
The students enrolled in the “Maritime Safety Control” study 73 credit hours of (obligatory courses), as well as study 38 credit hours of (elective courses).
3. Fishing engineering technology:
The students enrolled in the “Marine Technology Engineering” study 73 credit hours of (obligatory courses), as well as study 38 credit hours of (elective courses).
