To prepare a “fishing vessel master” according to the requirements of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) who takes care of marine fisheries affairs through deep sea and exclusive economic zone (EEC ) fishing, estimating fish stock and detecting fish aggregation, the methods of fishing and the involved crafts in addition to fishing vessels steering and who is versed in fishing laws, international marine law and is capable of protecting the environment against pollution.
