The faculty of fisheries technology, Aswan university was established according to the ministerial decree No. 1595 of 2014. The study began at the end of the academic year 2013/2014 and the first batch was graduated at the end of the academic 2016/2017.
It is a unique faculty in terms of quantity and quality. The faculty aims at developing Egypt’s fish stocks, it has 5 academic programs with 8 scientific departments that represent all the fields serving the fish stock development.
