Conclusion of “Managing Fish Farms” Course

As completion of “Managing Fish Farms” courses’ topics, Eng. Yasser Adam, head of fisheries sector at High Dam Authority, discussed the economic feasibility of fish farms. Dr. Naglaa Maher who works in Water Research Center delivered a lecture on managing the quality of fish farms’ water while Prof. Muhammad Shawqi Al-Qattan, vice dean of community service and environmental development, delivered a lecture on health procedures for handling fish.

This course is the first of a series of training courses that will address various important topics in the field of fisheries as a serious step to spread the culture of fish farming in Aswan governorate and provide technical support and advice to young people regarding setting up farming projects as well as educating fishermen about the right practices. With a speech from Prof. Salah El-Din Fikri Al-Saei, dean of the faculty, the training course activities were concluded.
