Activities of the International Sports Tourism Forum, prospects and aspirations – Aswan Ahla Initiative on its second day

Prof. Ahmed Ghallab, President of the University, referred to the capabilities that Aswan University possesses, the   water anchorage, which helps to host national championships and canine sports activities from various Egyptian and African universities within the framework of cooperation between the Faculty of Physical Education and a number of different sports and tourism institutions in Egypt, the Arab world and the world. With her participation in this international conference on the land of Aswan, the capital of culture, economy, arts and Arab-African youth.

Dr. Kamal El-Din Darwish, Head of the Physical Education Sector at the Supreme Council of Universities praised the sports facilities witnessed by Aswan University and the effort made in developing the Faculty of Physical Education and its various activities at Aswan University headed by Dr. Ahmed Ghallab, within the framework of cooperation between the relevant ministries of higher education, tourism, archaeology, youth and sports, and recommended the establishment of a center for games. Aquatic sports of the Egyptian Athletic Federation for Universities in Aswan, because Aswan University owns the components of these games, and no other university does it.
Dr. Mohamed Sobhi Hassanein , Vice President of the Egyptian Sports Federation for Universities, explained the importance of sports and student activities supported by the state through the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the importance of Aswan University’s site and being the southern gateway for communication with universities on the African continent.

The conference guests also made a tourist trip to the places of Abu Alhawa – the island of Plants, the Nuba Museum, West Suhail and the Unfinished Obelisk, and held an introductory seminar on sports navigation and another symposium under the title of the future of canoeing and kayaking competitions in Aswan, which are lectured by Ahmed Abdel Khalek, Director of Sports Tourism at the Ministry of Youth and Sports and Major General Mu’nis Fouad.
