The dean of the faculty of fisheries technology and fish Prof. Magdi Mohammed Ali declared that as a part of the cooperation between ” Nile Valley Corporation for Naval Navigation” and the faculty of fisheries technology and fish, a practical application for the 2nd level students was implemented on 2 programs ” Marine Arts” and ” “Fundamentals of Navigation”, as for the 4th level students; the training was an application of two courses ” Marine Safety” and ” Crises Management” on the ship Sina in the High Dam east harbor under the supervision of the vice CEO of Nile Valley Corporation for Naval Navigation Shipmaster / Moustafa Amer.
As an application of the course” Marine Arts” the students were trained on the tasks of the technical crew and the ship machinery. As for the course” Fundamentals of Navigation” the students were trained on navigation equipment.
The students identified cranes and engines and how to maintain it as an application of the 2 courses” fishing equipment”
and ” Pump Hydraulics “. Through the course” Marine Safety” the students identified lifeboat (shipboard) and extinguishing equipment while as for the course” Crisis Management” the students trained on how to manage the crisis on the ship and keep its balance.
