The department includes a selected group of \u00a0consultant doctors of cardiothoracic surgery.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<span data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<strong data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Prof. Mohamed Zaki El-Dahshoury,<\/strong>\u00a0dean of the faculty of medicine and chairman of Aswan University Hospitals, said that a specialized medical team in the department of cardiothoracic surgery performed an accurate surgery for a patient who was suffering from severe mitral valve stenosis \u00a0as a result of rheumatic heart fever. \u00a0His Excellency added that an open heart operation was performed today for the patient where the mitral valve was replaced with an prosthetic heart valve.<\/span>\u00a0<span data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">\u00a0 On the other hand,\u00a0<strong data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Dr. Ashraf Maabad<\/strong>, executive manager of Aswan University Hospitals, said that the medical team included a selected group of surgeons headed by\u00a0<strong data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Dr. Ahmed Anwar Oreibi,<\/strong>\u00a0lecturer and consultant of cardiothoracic surgery delegated from Minya University,\u00a0<strong data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Dr. Mustafa El Sayed Khalil<\/strong>, assistant lecturer of cardiothoracic surgery at Aswan University Hospital , and\u00a0<strong data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Dr. Mohamed Shawky Zahran<\/strong>.<\/span>\u00a0<span data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">\u00a0The team of anesthesia included;\u00a0<strong data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Dr. Tarek Sayed Hemida,<\/strong>\u00a0chairman of anesthesia department,\u00a0<strong data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Dr. Marwa Hussein Sayed<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Mr. Ashraf Mahmoud<\/strong>, anesthesia technician in addition to the nursing staff who included\u00a0<strong data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Mr. Mohamed Adel<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Mr. Taha Fayez<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Mr. George Emad<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Ms. Nada Ahmed<\/strong>\u00a0as well as the nursing staff of open-heart operations care who are\u00a0<strong data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Ms. Suad Abdel Salam,<\/strong>\u00a0nursing supervisor,\u00a0<strong data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Mr. Mahmoud Abdel Moneim<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Mr. Mohamed Abdel Salam<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Ms. Hanan
