Preparing a fishery specialist who is capable of managing fisheries, doing fish statistics, estimating fish stocks and who is versed in-laws and legislation of Maritime Organization and who is capable of making the modern fishing nets in addition to the manufacturing of fish being commercially acceptable in the markets as well as preparing the human resources that know the significance of preserving the marine environment and laying down the policies of sustainable fishing which can achieve the optimum and sustainable exploitation of fisheries.<\/span><\/p>\n Specifications of the Inland Fisheries Program Graduates\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n 1-Having the ability of managing the fisheries, the economic bio-management.<\/span><\/p>\n 2-Having the ability of counting the fisheries stock.<\/span><\/p>\n 3-Having the ability of organizing the fisheries operations without clashing with balance, bio-variety, and maintaining the environment.<\/span><\/p>\n 4-\u00a0 Having the ability of selecting and choosing the appropriate hunting crafts for the circumstances of the hunting in terms of the kinds of fish and the places of their gathering.<\/span><\/p>\n 5-Having\u00a0 the awareness of Astronomy, Meteorology and Marine Science, and the rules of fish wealth.<\/span><\/p>\n 6-Being conversant with the knowledge of the scientific writing skills and communicating with others.<\/span><\/p>\n 7-Having the ability of fish and environmental guidance for the hunters community.<\/span><\/p>\n Teaching Plan\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n First: Courses required by the college<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n All students, during the undergraduate level, study general courses (college requirements), and credit hours are not taken for them.<\/span><\/p>\n Second: Academic courses<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Students enrolled in the inland fisheries technology program study a group of basic sciences, humanities and social sciences, specialized sciences, field training, graduation projects, field studies, information technology, distributed among compulsory and optional courses on the scientific departments of the faculty.<\/span><\/p>\n During the first level, students enrolled in the Inland Fisheries Technology program study 28 credit hours (compulsory courses) and 6 credit hours (elective courses).<\/span><\/p>\n During levels two to four, students of the Inland Fisheries Technology Program study 74 credit hours (compulsory courses) and 38 credit hours (elective courses).<\/span><\/p>\n Conditions for obtaining a bachelor’s degree in fisheries sciences specializing in “inland fisheries”<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n 1- The student obtained the International Computer Driving License (ICDL) from an accredited center.<\/span><\/p>\n 2- The student obtained a military education course and successfully passed it.<\/span><\/p>\n 3- The student has successfully passed the \u201cComputer\u201d course (a requirement of the Ministry of Higher Education).<\/span><\/p>\n 4- The student has successfully passed 145 credit hours, of which 102 credit
