Moreover, fish manufacturing, handling, counseling the aquaculture farmer about the new techniques in the field of Aquaculture.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; color: #254b78;\">A graduate of the Aquaculture Technology Program is able to:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">Read and interpret survey maps.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">Design, establish and manage aquacultures.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">Design, establish and manage fish hatcheries.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">Assess water quality in the field and laboratory.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">Calculate and estimate the nutritional requirements of farmed aquatic animals.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">Prepare diets for farmed aquatic animals and estimate the quality of fodder components in fish diets.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">Transport and handle live fish inside and outside the farm in ways that preserve their life and vitality.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">Handle and preserve fish after harvesting and processing.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">Develop health prevention programs to prevent the spread of diseases in farms and hatcheries.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">Diagnosis and treatment of fish diseases and other farmed organisms.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">Assess technically, economically, and environmentally aquatic farms.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; color: #254b78; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">Study Plan:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; color: #254b78; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">First: programs required by the faculty<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">All students in the bachelor stage study general programs (the faculty requirements) without credit hours. for more details <a href=\"http:\/\/fish.aswu.edu.eg\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/GENERAL-PROGRAMS-1.pdf\">press here<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; color: #254b78; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">Second: the Academic Programs<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">Students shall study a number of basic research, human, social sciences, field training, graduation projects, field research, information technology distributed to the scientific departments as mandatory and elective courses. In the first level, the student takes 28 credit hours (mandatory courses) and 6 credit hours (elective courses). fish stock sciences, aquaculture specialization<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Having ICDL certificate.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Having military education course and passing it successfully.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Passing the computer exam (a requirement of the ministry of higher education)<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Passing 145 credit hours
